654484, McGUIRE, (Pte.) Robert, “A” Company enlisted in Wingham, ON on February 15, 1916. His next of kin was John McGuire of St. Helens, ON.

654484, PARK, (Pte.) William James, “D” Company enlisted in Hensall, ON on February 15, 1916. His next of kin was Donald Park of Hensall, ON. Private Jim Park was photographed in Hensall’s Own standing in the 2nd back row, 11th from the left. He was also photographed in a photo of the 161st brass band as trombonist, 5th from the left in the 2nd row. The photograph of the 161st’s brass band was published on page 4 of the County of Huron War Memorial.

654456, TROYER, (Pte.) Walter Case, “D” Company enlisted in Hensall, ON on February 15, 1916.. His next o f kin was Charles E. Troyer of Shauavon, Saskatchewan. Walter C. Troyer was born in the U.S.A. Pte. W. Case Troyer was photographed with Hensall’s Own in a relaxed pose, reclining on his right elbow, in the front row.
