654574, TRAPNELL, (Pte.) Hubert James, “D” Company enlisted in Seaforth, his hometown before and after WWI. His next of kin was Ms. Isabel Trapnell of Bristol, England. His country of birth was England. Pte. Herb Trapnell was photographed as one of Seaforth’s Own in a WWI photo hanging in the Seaforth Legion Hall.
654582, HOFFMAN (Pte.) Philip George, “A” Company enlisted in Wroxeter. His next of kin was Ms. Mary Ann Hoffman of Kentville, Ontario (near Ottawa, ON). Private Phil Hoffman was photographed with “A” Company’s Wroxeter’s Own at Camp Borden. He can be found reclining on his right elbow in front of the squatted row in the photo.
After WWI, Philip Hoffman was listed as living in Listowel, ON on N.W. Miller’s 1935 nominal roll.
